Mission

The mission of the Office of Epidemiology and Health Promotion (OEHP) is to ensure healthier communities across West Virginia through promoting healthier lifestyles, managing health information, and decreasing disease, injury, disability, and premature death.

West Virginia Coalition for Minority Health

The WV Coalition for Minority Health is a division of All-Aid International, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to the uplifting of traditionally underserved populations. The mission of the WV Coalition for Minority Health is to decrease disease incidence and mortality and increase survival rates among minorities. The Coalition’s goals are to coordinate programming, collect and distribute resource material; increase community involvement in health screening programs; collaborate on statewide health initiatives; and to support and fund community-based programming. The Office of Minority Health within OEHP collaborates with the Coalition on meeting its goals and objectives.
