Quitting smoking saves money. A pack-a-day smoker, who pays $2 per pack, can expect to save more than $700 per year. It appears that the price of cigarettes will continue to rise in coming years, as will the financial rewards of quitting.

SHEC is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for networking, education and involvement that enhance health promotion efforts in West Virginia. OEHP has been partnering with SHEC for over two decades, and has supported the organization’s annual conference by providing funding, resources, etc.
