Mission

The mission of the Office of Epidemiology and Health Promotion (OEHP) is to ensure healthier communities across West Virginia through promoting healthier lifestyles, managing health information, and decreasing disease, injury, disability, and premature death.

Surveillance & Disease Control

The Division of Surveillance and Disease Control is one of four divisions within the Office of Epidemiology and Health Promotion. The DSDC tracks occurrences of diseases, provides preventive interventions, and educates the public on protecting themselves from diseases.
